Introducing the exciting new Hybrid Vigour club night!

Hybrid Vigour 01/07/17

Beamed back fully-charged from the dancefloor-discombobulated twilight zone, Hybrid Vigour Club is a new club night for wild, energised, intersectional dance music.

Building on the format-dissolving continuous dance events Hybrid Vigour have been running the last few years – featuring the likes of Mica Levi, Nkisi, Inga Copeland, Islam Chipsy and the Moog Sound Lab – Hybrid Vigour Club will be a safe and enigmatic space, conducting entangled cross-currents of zeal and rhythm for Sheffield, with DJs, performers and partiers meeting in intimate, osmotic collision. Esoteric rhythms and vigorous vibes.

In general line-ups won’t be announced beforehand, so enter with your body primed for unexpected transmissions. Expect the unexpected. Come for the vibe, stay for the tunes.

Jasmine Infiniti Fundraiser

We’re extremely saddened that Jasmine Infiniti, who was going to be gracing the decks all the way from NYC in secret, is no longer able to attend due to being victim of a hate attack in recent weeks which has postponed their entire European tour and left them hospitalised and needing expensive surgery. As a result, we’re going to be taking donations on the door and donating a portion of ticket sales to aid their recovery.

Jasmine is an amazing DJ who is a pillar of the trans, vogue, and underground musical communities in the Bay Area and NYC. Check out one of their banging mixes below, and hear their rampant mash-up included in our ‘8 Tracks’ feature for The Ransom Note here: Please donate what you can, as we all know how fucked up the American health care system is, even before Donald Trump’s rise to power.

Please donate what you can, as we all know how messed up the American health care system was even before Donald Trump’s rise to power.

We’ve assembled a worthy roster to fire off in Jasmine’s absence and celebrate in their honour.

Atmosphere gonna be hawt.

With July 1st being the first iteration, we are itching to flick the switch. Ya don’t want to sleep on this.
