Free Hand
Every Wednesday evening, the Warehouse Gallery is donated to this creative workshop. Charly, founder and co-ordinator, explains her mission;
‘We run workshops and offer open, judgement free space for people living with depression and anxiety. This can range from temporary feelings of stress or stagnation to any form of depression and anxiety. These are multi-disciplinary workshops using different mediums. Each block of workshops with a different theme. Free Hand is held on Wednesdays 5pm-8pm, drop in and leave as you please!
We are in no way a replacement for therapy but aim to offer an avenue of healthy expression and a break from routine.’
Recently, Charly was interviewed by blogger, Lauren Hayley, about Freehand, Charly’s own personal story and her aims for the future. Read this positive and inspiring article here.
